Loss Prevention (Security) Officer - The Warehouse, Clendon (Fixed-Term/Part-Time)

Job Description Te kaupapa o te turanga - The purpose of the role. We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. Key Responsibilities:  Monitor security cameras  Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor  Interact with customers and address their concerns Upload events onto our crime reporting platform. We have two part-time fixed-term positions available working until the 31st of January 2025. Hours of work are: Position 1: Friday & Saturday 3.30pm-9.30pm Position 2:   Friday & Saturday 7.30am-3.30pm Qualifications He korero mou ake - About you Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods. Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
