Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice -Horrabridge Primary School And Nursery

Horrabridge School is currently offering a Level 3 apprenticeship placement. This opportunity focuses on working within our Nursery, which provides care and education for pupils aged 2 to 4 years. You'll have the chance to contribute to the nurturing and development of young children, gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.What you will do in your working dayWelcoming and settling-in the children as they arrive to the nursery (helping to put their belongings on their peg/trolley)Interacting and engaging with children throughout their daily learningSupporting children with their basic hygiene needs.Assisting and supporting children throughout snack/lunchtime routineMaking sure the environment is safe, clean and tidy (reporting any issues found to the manager)Supervising children throughout their daily toothbrushing routine.Supporting staff and children with the timetabled daily routine/planned activitiesSupporting children to build positive relationships with other childrenSupervising and observing children between the ages of 2-4 years oldSupporting children to develop their independence and social skillsMotivating the children and encouraging them to exploreProviding comfort and warmth to any ill childrenReporting any accidents to the manager/staff membersPromote and support the safeguarding of the children in the nurseryThe training you will be gettingYou will be working towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualificationYou may also need to work towards Level 2 functional skills in maths and English if not achieved at GCSE levelAll training to be delivered remotely, via teams, during paid working hoursWhat to expect at the end of your apprenticeshipIt is hoped but not guaranteed that an offer of permanent employment will be offered at the end of this apprenticeshipFor more information and to apply, please click here#J-18808-Ljbffr
