Legal Secretary

Hill Lee and Scott – Burnside, South Island
We have a full-time position available for an experienced Legal Secretary. This role will be an integral part of the team and responsible for managing deadlines, liaising with clients, and other professional firms, whilst supporting partners, primarily with commercial and conveyancing matters.
We require a proactive person with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role includes assisting with the day-to-day coordination of conveyancing and commercial files, client AML checks, as well as duties such as dictation and typing, drafting and formatting documents, diary and email management and billing.
The ideal candidate will have: Experience as a Legal Secretary with at least four years experience
Proficiency in all aspects of Landonline, e-dealings and settlements
The ability to take ownership of the role, working autonomously and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Strong organisation, MS Word and Outlook skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of software such as ADLS and OneLaw
Experience with Olympus digital dictation or similar would be an advantage
