About the Role The role is fast-paced, busy and rewarding with a consistent flow of work. You will support interesting, large-scale and challenging work across a wide range of business law and commercial transactions, including S&P of commercial property, commercial leasing, subdivisions, shareholder and franchise agreements, joint ventures, capital raisings, banking & finance law, as well as some larger-scale M&A transactions.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a generalist legal background to specialise within a superb team, working collaboratively with authors across a variety of files and apply your skills and experience in a more advanced setting. About You This role will suit someone who is looking for a professional refresh within the local market with at least 3 + years of legal experience with prior exposure to commercial, property, or trust law.
You will be experienced across a variety of software, including advanced Microsoft 365 abilities, and be comfortable with high-volume document formatting across Microsoft Word and Adobe. You will also have experience with monthly invoicing, document management, and be comfortable managing diaries and inboxes for senior business professionals.
Candidates with 5 + years from a high-performing professional services background looking to transfer their skillset may also be considered for this vacancy. It would also suit someone looking to relocate to the Canterbury region eager to make their mark quickly within the local market.
