About the role This is a newly created, part time role for a positive, pragmatic and enthusiastic lawyer with property law expertise.
This role will suit either a specialist property lawyer (looking to broaden skills) or a generalist commercial lawyer with some property law expertise.
The legal team is cohesive, highly valued and effective and while a key focus of the role will be on property law matters, there is also the opportunity to be involved in a broader range of legal work.
In particular, you will review and prepare all real estate transaction documents (in conjunction with external lawyers) and provide input on all construction, building and property related issues including rent reviews, lease renewals and maintenance matters.
The broader scope of legal work is incredibly expansive and includes commercial contracts, marketing & advertising approvals, data protection & privacy matters, franchising, IT/digital projects, corporate governance, IP protection, HS&E, competition law and regulatory matters.
