An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Administrator looking to join a well reputed New Zealand law firm. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, engaging culture that values high-quality work, flexibility, inclusivity, and collaborative achievement. This is a fixed-term, 12 month position.
As a Legal Administrator, you will play an integral role in providing high-level personal assistance to partners as well as secretarial and administrative support to the wider team. You will have the opportunity to manage a wide variety of tasks in an organised manner while building strong, influential relationships. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cooperative and collaborative team environment will be key to your success.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. While experience within the legal industry is preferable, this opportunity is open to ambitious individuals with previous administrative experience within alternative professional settings.
Key Responsibilities Provide a high level of personal assistance to Partners and wider team as necessary
Manage private information and documents in an efficient manner
Correspondence with clients via phone and email
Onboarding new clients and supporting AML checks
Co-ordinating client meetings and managing reception duties as required
Key Requirements Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
Confident to build strong relationships
Ability to work both pro / re-actively
Able to pick up systems quickly / previous experience using Microsoft Suite
