Learning Support Co-Ordinator

Te Paepae o Aotea is the employing school for the learning support coordinators allocated to the South Taranaki Kahui Ako. We are looking for a learning support coordinator to work with four other learning support coordinators across the 18 schools in our Kahui Ako.
The successful applicant will be an experienced registered teacher who will:
build the capability of kaiako and teachers
identify and plan for the learning support needs of all children and young people in the school or kura, including those with moderate needs
be available to support learners, their parents and whanau
form effective, collaborative relationships with students, teachers and external agencies
contribute to learning support system improvements including smooth transitions for our learners.
Teaching staff appointed to Te Paepae o Aotea are entitled to the High Priority Teacher Supply Allowance. This means appointees relocating to Hawera are also entitled to apply for relocation costs.
