Lead, Programme & Partnerships, MedTech Catapult Lead, Programme & Partnerships, MedTech Catapult Biological & Biomedical Sciences (Science & Technology) The MedTech Catapult is a national initiative for accelerating the development of high-value MedTech projects through an in-house product engineering unit. The objectives of the Programme Office are to i) support the operations of the MedTech Catapult, ii) develop strategies and seed partnerships to support MedTech Catapult activities; and iii) oversee and administer the grants. The Lead will report to the Programme Director. Job Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: To support the Programme Director in operationalizing MedTech Catapult as a national initiative and ensure a seamless implementation of programme operations by working with internal A*STAR functions and external ecosystem Identify new strategic and business opportunities in response to a dynamically changing environment and to manage the positioning of MC through its strategic partnerships, marketing and project portfolio To manage the steering committee and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and partners to cement MedTech Catapult's unique role in the local, regional and global ecosystem To implement and provide regular updates on MC's activities to the steering committee and for internal update meetings Spearhead and establish a network of strategic and productive partnerships locally and internationally, to bring in investment for co-development projects To work with the project evaluation committee to evaluate, onboard and monitor high potential technology development projects to advance high-value projects through the device development cycle Lead a team of up to 3 officers to execute the roles and responsibilities of the Programme Office in developing short- and long- term roadmaps for the programmes Requirements: M.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Design, Bioengineering or Other Relevant Experience in a related field. >15 years of experience in life science instruments/medical device industry. Possess a good understanding of the local ecosystem players and familiarity with internal organizational structure and culture Experience with product design and development from research/concept to product manufacture Experience in front-facing engagements dealing with vendors, key accounts, stakeholders. Experience in handling legal agreements, stakeholder relationships Experience with grants management Possess excellent networking, communication and writing skills.
