This is why Riverstone Care Home is searching for a Laundry Worker to join the team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents. This is a permanent, part-time position (minimum 15 hours per week, 5 hours per day, working Friday to Sunday - from 8.30am - 3.00pm (hours are flexible).
Where You Will Make an Impact
Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
Meeting the daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising the Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
Monitoring linen supplies and advising the line manager of replacement needs.
Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
What About You
Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents' lives.
You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
Have reliable transport or travel arrangements.
