As Labour Inspector, you will be: Investigating complaints and interviewing employers and employees about compliance with minimum employment standards Using a range of techniques to gather evidence to assess whether noncompliance has occurred, including creating spreadsheets to calculate employee entitlements Writing clear, professional investigation reports that explain your investigation findings Drafting and issuing enforcement documents, such as infringement notices, improvement notices and enforceable undertakings Preparing witness statements and writing legal documentation Managing your own cases through the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.
