Laboratory Technician STgenetics New Zealand LTD. Night ShiftSTgenetics New Zealand Ltd processes animal semen to produce gender selected fresh and frozen product. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international company that leads the delivery of sexing technology to livestock industries.We are looking for a full-time laboratory technician. As an STgenetics Lab Tech, you will be able to operate and control Flow Cytometers, sorters, and other related laboratory equipment, prepare media, process fill and seal straws in the cold room, and apply quality control standards to livestock semen.To be considered for the role, applicants ideally should have a qualification in science as well as experience in a commercial laboratory environment. Experience dealing with livestock semen handling and analysis would be a distinct advantage.A desire and capacity to acquire new knowledge and skills is required.
