Laboratory TechnicianThe Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company is a globally recognised manufacturer of specialised dairy ingredients and food products.
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team.
Key tasks, duties and responsibilities: Performing microbiological and/or chemical analyses.Sampling, testing, equipment calibration, recording results and checking compliance against specifications.Preparing media, chemicals, and maintaining supplies of consumables.Identifying problems and rectifying them.Exceptional attention to detail.Work accurately with numbers.Problem solving.The ability to follow and have a strict adherence to procedures.Time management.The ability to participate effectively as a member of a team.The ability to work efficiently and accurately.Planning and organisation.Desired knowledge, attributes, experience and qualifications of the successful applicant include: Tertiary degree qualification relevant to the role; ANDAt least 1 year laboratory experience.Understanding of dairy testing methodology.Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Hourly Pay Rate: $39.1450
Role Type: Permanent Full-time
Location: Onsite at Tatua - 3434 State Highway 26, Tatuanui, Morrinsville.
Minimum Guaranteed Weekly Hours of Work: 42 Hours
Days required: This position is based on a rotating 5 day on 3 day off roster. This roster includes weekend and public holiday work. Some overtime may be necessary.
Applicants must be able to attend an interview in Morrinsville and have the required documentation to allow them to work in New Zealand.
