About you:
A background in a science-related field and previous laboratory experience is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Ability to follow protocols and work effectively as part of a team
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
Basic proficiency with laboratory tools and techniques
Understanding of laboratory safety practices is a plus
Flexible work arrangements to fit around your other commitments.
We will be moving quickly in the hiring process and are only looking for candidates that can start prior to Christmas, and work throughout December/January and into early February 2025. If you think this is the role for you and Oritain is the place you want to be, we encourage you to apply today! You must have the current right to live and work in New Zealand to apply.
Diversity
Oritain is committed to its mission to build a world-class business that evolves for decades to come and helps create tangible change in the world. As global citizens, we are therefore committed to continuing to grow a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace, and our 'one team' approach is a trusted commitment which runs through everything we do.
Please note: Studies have shown that under-represented groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. As part of our dedication to diversity, we at Oritain encourage applicants that are excited about the role and company to apply anyway even if their past experience doesn't always align perfectly with every qualification in the job description.
