About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand/Driver to work at Nelson Hospital . Permanent part-time with a minimum of 4 hours per week .
In this position you will be responsible for:
Basic food preparation and presentation
Serving meals
Stock control
Transportation and delivery of food
You will be in possession of a clean and full driver's license as you will be expected to collect food and deliver it to sites.
You will have good communication skills, be well presented, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
Ideally, you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) (or be happy to train for one). You will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service, and quality.
