About the Job

We are seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant for our Rest Home at Herne Bay in Central Auckland. Responsibilities will include cleaning dishes in the dishwasher, assisting the chef to prepare and serve meals, general cleaning of the kitchen, and other cleaning duties as required.

We can also make this a full-time job if you are interested in doing some Housekeeping duties on different days.

Some Duties Include but are not Limited to:

Maintain infection control principles

Assisting with meal preparation and general kitchen duties

Assisting the healthcare team in serving our residents

Delivering top-class customer service to a high standard and quality

Constantly learning and developing your skills/knowledge

Skills and Experience

Has appropriate experience in the industry

Has a positive attitude and excellent people skills

Has good organisational skills

Minimum Requirements

You must be reliable, honest, and hard-working. You will be able to work various shifts including weekends.
