Te Mahi/About the Position Our Key Support Workers cross the region every day, providing domestic and personal care to support our clients to live well at home. We'd like you to be one of them. We have an exciting opportunity for experienced caregivers to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. As a Key Support Worker, you will have competence and comfort supporting clients with activities of daily living, working with complex clients, providing hoist assistance, and responding to clients' changing level of need as their pattern of care is established. This role also includes meal preparation, medications, hosiery, and catheter cares. He momo/About you Be professional, honest, reliable, and friendly in your approach. Be able to maintain professional boundaries with clients. Be fit and able to achieve all tasks associated with the position. Hold a full New Zealand drivers' licence and have your own reliable transport. Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. A Level 2 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent health qualification, and previous experience in the industry would be preferred. Have received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and be able to provide evidence of your vaccination record. This role is rostered over seven days, including weekend and evening shifts. Naturally, you will have a caring nature, strong work ethic, and be someone who wants to truly make a difference in the lives of others. You'll have a range of skills from strong communication, attention to detail, the ability to problem-solve, and work unsupervised.
