Kaitohutohu Utu Kaimahi | Payroll Advisor at Te Puni Kokiri - Ministry of Maori Development, Wellington Te Puni Kokiri is the government's principal policy advisor on Maori wellbeing and development.
We achieve strategic influence with a focus on providing high quality policy advice and holding other agencies to account for delivering public services to, for and with Maori.
This includes our mandate to promote Maori achievement in education, training, health and economic resource development along with performing our monitoring and mentoring roles.
Our Corporate puni plays a vital role in supporting this mahi.
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Payroll Advisor to join us - are you looking for a new, exciting and rewarding opportunity?
Te whai wahitanga | The opportunity Reporting to the Team Leader, Payroll the Payroll Advisor will work as part of a small team to provide a high level of payroll advice and support to Te Puni Kokiri.
They use a range of software as part of their mahi, with the main payroll system being Pay Global.
The Payroll Advisor will run payroll reports, including monthly reporting to our finance team and be a contact for agencies including Inland Revenue and Statistics New Zealand as part of their mahi.
The appointment range for this role is between $68,406 to $84,793 per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
The Payroll Advisor understands legislation as it relates to payroll and possesses a high level of attention to detail, adaptability and technology savviness.
Strong in Excel and a frequent user of payroll software you may have used Pay Global in the past and/or be familiar with other payroll software.
