You willProvide financial information and advice to Ministers, Executive Leadership and Budget managersProvide financial information as required in the Ministry's accountability documents and manage our financial reporting to requirements to TreasuryEnsure that all financial information and advice adheres to the requirements outlined in the position description, including reporting standards GAAP & NZ IFRS.Ensure our tax obligations are metThe appointment range for this role is between $133,248 to $166,560 per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.Mou | About youA finance professional, you bring experience providing regular, timely, accurate financial information to senior and executive leadership.
As a technical expert you have a varied financial skillset includingIn depth knowledge and experience in preparing financial information and associated processes.Up to date knowledge of financial reporting standards, including GAAP and NZ IRFSThe ability to undertake complex financial analysis.Knowledge and experience in financial management accounting systems and are very competent using technology.Hold current ICANZ CA membership or an equivalent qualificationAre comfortable working in an ao Maori environment, and in situations where tikanga is observed.
