Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this position We're looking for a person who can manaaki akonga to engage, progress and achieve their goals within their personalised learning program.
We are a kura who work across learning areas and levels to provide a one size fits one model.
Te Kura is a unique organisation who supports the education ecosystem of Aotearoa | New Zealand.
In this role you will: Lead, manage and support a multidisciplinary team of kaimahi Assist with building a dynamic teaching and learning environment Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and pastoral support to our akonga Utilise effective relationship building and communication skills Deliver high-quality, future focused teaching & learning Undertake a Kaimanaaki role as a key part of your mahi, focusing on the pastoral support you will provide to your group of akonga Engage with akonga & whanau in face-to-face and online contexts Live Te Tiriti o Waitangi Bring our local curriculum Te Ara Pounamu to life for akonga Kaiako at Te Kura engage with our akonga online and face-to-face at huinga ako (advisories) and events, and also work onsite with colleagues in our regional offices.
Te Kura aims to provide flexible working arrangements, so Kaiako are able to request to work from home for up to two days per week.
