As Junior Maintenance Technician you will work as part of our team at Auckland International Airport to manage the operations and maintenance of the baggage system. You will have a proactive approach to work and enjoy a fast paced working environment. On the job training will be provided so that you are equipped to do your job to the best of your ability.
Responsibilities

Daily Maintenance: You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment through preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance, keeping everything running smoothly.
Tools and Materials Caretaker: Maintain our tools and materials, ensuring they're in great working condition and ready for use whenever necessary.
Knowledge Sharing Champion: Guide our staff and stakeholders on our system, sharing insights and expertise to enhance the team's collective understanding.
Responding with Precision: Handle emergency tasks swiftly and effectively, showcasing your ability to stay composed and take decisive action when needed.

Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you should bring the following skills, experience and attributes, along with the right to work in New Zealand:

Demonstrate work ethic and time management skills
Understanding and experience in basic computer skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Experience with maintenance of equipment.
Previous experience with the mechanical aspects of a conveyor system or other similar equipment would be beneficial

Shift work is a requirement in this role, so you must be comfortable and able to work on a rotating 24/7 shift roster.
