Description

We have an opportunity for a Junior or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our Higgins workshop in Tauranga.

As a Junior or Apprentice mechanic, your role will focus on the repair and maintenance of both heavy plant and trucks. You will be working alongside a team of experienced mechanics who work together to solve problems in a safe environment.

What You'll Bring To The Role

Experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment
Experience working on plant e.g. diggers, graders, loaders, dozers, milling equipment
Level 4 Trade qualification or similar is preferred
Class 2 -5 license highly sought after
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
Committed to a safety-first culture
Availability to work an on-call roster
