Inventory Controller

Based in Hastings, Tumu Timbers Ltd is a progressive locally owned Hawkes Bay timber processing business. With over 160 staff, we place emphasis on working together as a team to achieve our goals. As a member of our Planning Team, you will assist with production planning and ensure the accuracy of inventory. Your key responsibilities will include: Weekly reporting of aspects of production Maintaining records and spreadsheets Undertaking reconciliations and planning Ordering production consumables Coordinating tenders Assisting with operational projects To be successful in this role you need: Minimum level 2 NCEA or similar high school qualification Relevant tertiary qualification (business/commerce) preferred At least two years' experience in a production or manufacturing related environment would be advantageous Strong IT and problem-solving skills Excellent organisation skills, strong accuracy, and attention to detail To be a collaborative team-player With people being at the heart of the business, we promote a positive and enthusiastic culture offering great staff benefits including medical insurance, ongoing training and development opportunities, and an extensive well-being programme.
