As a result of this, they are now looking for an Inventory Controller to join the business to support their growth and development.The opportunityAs the Inventory Controller, you will play a critical role in leading the day-to-day management of stock and inventory processes. Your focus will be on ensuring process accuracy, enhancing system integration, and driving continuous improvement to streamline operations, training the wider team on improved processes. Key responsibilities will include:Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels across multiple warehouse sites and ensuring alignment with production needs.Overseeing the smooth coordination of inventory systems, ensuring timely and accurate updates within WMS/ERP systems.Managing the supply chain of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across sites.Collaborating with production and logistics teams to meet customer requirements and minimise disruptions.Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.Supporting the review and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance system integration and improve logistics functions.Maintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety within the inventory operations.Proactively identifying areas for process improvement and driving positive change.What you will bring to the roleIdeally 4+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.Demonstrated experience managing stock across multiple locations and working effectively with 3PL providers.Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and analytical skills for reporting and data accuracy.Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to remain calm and measured under pressure.A proactive approach to continuous improvement and strategic problem-solving.Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Self-motivated, well-organised, and administratively proficient.What's in it for you?This is a great opportunity to join a passionate and growing business with genuine scope to drive continuous improvement across inventory and logistics functions.
