Join the exhilarating world of Shotover Jet—where adventure meets the deep cultural heritage of Ngai Tahu. We are looking for an Inventory and Procurement Manager to take charge of the inventory and supply needs of jet boat parts. Focussed on Shotover Jet, the role will also support Dart River Adventures, Huka Falls Jet, and Hollyford Wilderness Experience. This role is key to ensuring our jet boats and operations run smoothly, contributing to unforgettable experiences for our manuhiri (visitors) while helping to protect and grow our tribal legacy.

What you'll do - Te Arotahi Matua:
Keep the engines running:
Oversee and manage the inventory and procurement for our jet boat fleet, ensuring all parts and supplies are available for smooth, safe operations.
Ensure inventory is catalogued and stored in an organised and secure manner.
Prepare parts and service kits to align with service scheduling.
Strategic sourcing: Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, ensuring cost-effective procurement while upholding the quality and safety standards of Shotover Jet and Ngai Tahu Tourism, including our Procurement Policy.
Data-driven insights: Use data to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels across all experiences.
Cultural connection: Embrace Ngai Tahu values in everything you do, fostering a work environment that celebrates manaakitanga and our connection to the whenua (land) and iwi (people).
Health & safety focus: Ensure all safety standards are met across procurement and inventory management, contributing to the wellbeing of our teams and customers.
Future proof: Identify areas to develop and improve the inventory space at Shotover Jet.
What you'll bring - Nga Pukenga:
2+ years of experience in inventory management or procurement, preferably in an operational environment.
A commitment to Ngai Tahu values and a willingness to deepen your knowledge of Ngai Tahutanga and te reo Maori.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced adventure tourism environment.
A customer-first attitude, embracing the spirit of manaakitanga in every interaction.
Strong analytical skills, with an eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
Enthusiasm for working in an iconic, adrenaline-fuelled tourism operation that connects people to place.
