We are looking for a talented Intermediate Civil Engineer in our Northland team!
The opportunity in a nutshell:
We are a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering professional geotechnical, contaminated land, civil, 3 water infrastructure and natural hazard engineering services complemented with aerial mapping and lidar skills. We have grown to a technically capable team of 15 engineers and pride ourselves that we offer a one stop shop for our clients.
This is a unique opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Northland team. Not only will you be able to live the ultimate work life balance in the beautiful Bay of Islands where we have a well established workload but you will be mentored to grow your technical and business skills. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our technically challenging civil projects both nationwide and internationally. This includes large scale land development, landfill design and modelling, flood hazard modelling, roading infrastructure and government buildings.
You will be given the support and resources to develop yourself within a vibrant team culture in a business that founds its core values on sustainability, mental wellbeing and building strong relationships.
About you:
To succeed in this role we are looking for candidates with:
5 years or more of post graduate experience as a civil engineer.
Relevant engineering degree.
An understanding of New Zealand engineering standards and regulation.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of client expectations and project requirements, including project budgets.
A strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation and best practice, with a particular focus or experience in how this applies to our industry.
A drive to deliver the best results for our clients.

Competitive salary, c. $90,000 – $120,000 for this role (based on experience).
