Police Intelligence produce approximately 50,000 products each year. These products include tactical and operational outputs to support immediate and short-term decision making, while strategic products support medium to long-term alignment of policy, strategy, capability development, and resource deployment.As an Intelligence Support Officer, you will be tasked with scanning, extracting, collating, manipulating, and interpreting both internal and external sources of information and data. The minimum criteria for this level of national security clearance is:NZ Citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the last 10 years, orA Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in NZ for the last 10 years, orA citizen of or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 10 years: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, or United States of America, and has a background that can be verified by the NZSIS.You may occasionally be required to work outside of set work hours and alternative locations for operational reasons.This role is set at Individual Contributor level, this means your key purpose is "to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business".New Zealand Police is the lead agency responsible for preventing crime and enhancing community safety.
