We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager to join our team in upgrading and developing facilities and supporting infrastructure to enable the hospital's clinical team to deliver care to our communities.
This role will be the lead in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects.You will enjoy a hugely varied role, implementing a wide range of projects across electrical, mechanical, 3 waters, facility upgrades and more.
You will work with talented multi-disciplinary teams, all working to ensure successful project delivery. The environment is fast-paced and the work will be varied.
You will need to be resourceful and flexible, able to think on your feet and draw on your previous experience to problem solve.
Key responsibilities will include :

Delivering and managing all phases of project development for specific infrastructure projects, including post project review and commissioning.
Providing technical guidance on a project-by-project basis.
Providing professional advice and consultation for building / infrastructure planning and design of improvements and capital construction projects.
Monitoring compliance with engineering standards.
Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
Participating in MidCentral's infrastructure capital investment planning activities.

To be successful you will need the following :

Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
Proven project management skills, ability to deliver multiple complex projects on time, on budget and to required standard.
Working knowledge of the building process and construction principles, and relevant engineering and building standards.
Critical thinking, analysing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions, and making recommendations in support of goals.
A proactive approach to pre-empting problems.
Sound stakeholder management and relationship building skills
