About the role
Our Blenheim branch has vacancies for an Industrial Site Electrician at our Land Based plant to deliver on-site electrical and maintenance services. This site services the Shellfish and Vegetable operation along with a large Coolstore operation.
This is a full-time role, rostered, with a minimum of 40 hours each week.
You will work within a diverse and constantly changing operating environment, to install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment, including 3-phase motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You will become part of a small but skilled team that strives to deliver a high standard of workmanship and skillset.

Based on your experience and qualifications, your hourly rate will range from $40 - $50.
Who are you?
Our ideal applicants will be:
NZ registered as an Electrician or hold a Limited Certificate as an Electrician from the Electrical Workers Registration Board and at least two years of relevant work experience
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to prioritise work and work well under pressure
Well-presented, tidy, and reliable
Advanced knowledge in the following would be beneficial:
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and plans
Motors and motor starters
Variable Speed Drives
PLC centres and PLC diagrams
Refrigeration and control
