Te ahua o Te Turunga – The nature of the position
The Inclusion and Diversity Partnership Manager & Senior Pathways Advisor have some clear outcomes to achieve, and are looking for someone who can bring a variety of skills, creative thinking and administrative finesse to help us achieve them. This newly created position will provide administrative, design, data entry and communications support across both portfolios of work.
A day for our Coordinator will include:
Content sourcing for communications including newsletters, LinkedIn, TradeCareers site
Design media outputs such as newsletters, presentation material and resources
Create distribution lists in Aka Korero platform for dissemination of information relating to both portfolios
Supporting Pathways initiatives as required
Supporting with roll out of Disability Action Plan
Data sourcing for occupations, Tahatu career platform and pathway maps in Construction and Infrastructure
Other ad hoc administrative tasks including supporting tasks aligned to E&P Coordinator role
This role would suit someone who has a can-do solutions-focused attitude and is able to manage competing demands.
This position can be based in Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton or remotely in Aotearoa.
This role is a fixed term role until 20 March 2025, 15 hours per week.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career in team support coordination with a keen interest or experience in either diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging and/or workforce development and pathways. Building positive, effective working relationships is a key part of this role, as is a collaborative approach.
If you have:
Experience in a busy coordination/administration role
Keen interest in design for resource material and presentations
Some understanding of external communications, and the ability to help share messages about our objectives and resources
Lived experience and/or passion about inclusion and pathways
Keen interest in, and ability to learn about, new systems, processes, and databases
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to be agile in your way of working
An understanding of Tikanga Maori and an interest in learning te Reo Maori
