Are you competent to advise on a diverse range of generalist HR matters, a self-starter able to influence within progressive, innovative, and ambitious businesses?We are looking for a part time Group HR Manager to work for our client Carus and its associated company ALTA Safety. Carus, are proudly New Zealand's leading repainting and aftercare maintenance specialists. ALTA Safety are leaders in height safety solutions. In this role you will be responsible for the HR requirements across both businesses.This is a newly created role where you will be an integral part of the leadership teams providing a strategic approach to people and capability; delivering an HR strategy that will support the organisations and contribute to the realisation of both companies visions.To be successful in the role of Human Resources Manager you must be / have:Relevant tertiary qualification or 5+ years HR experienceExperience advising Senior LeadersKnowledge and experience with employment relationsDemonstrated Health and Safety knowledgeThe ability to work across different geographical locations (occasional travel maybe required)Demonstrated commercial and business acumenBe highly personable and capable of building strong relationships across the business with a variety of stakeholdersBe resilient and able to drive implementation of strategyAbility to communicate with management/staff at all levels in order to successfully achieve outcomes by effective coaching and mentoringSound judgement and problem-solving skillsExcellent planning, analytical and organisational skillsYou will have a passion for and proven ability to build leadership capabilities for the businessThe day to day tasks and responsibility for the HR Manager will include:General HR duties including but not limited to: employee engagement, recruitment and retention, performance and leadership and organisational developmentWorking with the General Manager and divisional managers to implement the annual business plan and delivery of strategyAssist in the development, coordination and implementation of HR projects, policies and programmesDemonstrating strong leadership within the business and supporting the business by building the capability at all levelsThis is a part time role (approx. 25 hours) that can be worked over 3 to 5 days.This is an interesting and diverse role, but you can be assured your commitment to the business will be well rewarded!
