About the Role
Join us at Tasman Holiday Parks in Papamoa, where creating memorable holiday experiences is at the heart of what we do. We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor who leads from the front, actively participating with their team to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities include:
Staff Management and Scheduling: Coordinate and lead cleaning tasks, ensuring smooth operations and a supportive team environment.
Quality Control: Lead by example in supervising cleaning activities, personally inspecting areas to uphold our cleanliness standards.
Training and Compliance: Mentor and guide our staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in service standards.
Inventory Management: Efficiently manage supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked and used judiciously.
Reporting and Safety: Keep accurate records and prioritize safety, leading safety training and initiatives.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
A leadership style that is hands-on, with a focus on mentoring and motivating staff through personal engagement.
A commitment to excellence in service, with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
Excellent communication skills.
Good appreciation and respect of workplace safety.
This position is permanent , offering 35 hours per week.
