Hospital Aide, Gastroenterology Service

We are looking for a person with energy and initiative to join our team as a Hospital Aide in the Gastroenterology service. You will be a person who is attentive to detail and understands the importance of patient care.In this role, you will support patient care by moving patients and items around the hospital at the right time to the right place in a courteous and well-presented manner. You will ensure the effective day-to-day operation of Services at Te Whatu Ora, Counties Manukau as part of the Gastroenterology team by maintaining consistent non-patient and/or patient transport standards and processes and delivering high levels of customer service at all times.This is a 6-month fixed term, part-time position working 28 hours a week Monday to Friday between Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park.Key Responsibilities:Good communication and customer service skillsAbility to use initiative with good problem-solving skillsAbility to follow instructions and work under pressureExcellent verbal and written EnglishPrevious experience in the health care sector is an advantageBasic computer skillsAll-round team player with the ability to work unsupervised.Come and join a team where you will feel valued for making a difference.Dependent on skills and experience, the salary is in line with the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery Multi-Employer collective agreement.Position Number: CMH202413559Closing Date: 13th November 2024At Counties Manukau Health, people and their lives matter to us.
