Hop (Beer) Harvest

HOP (BEER) HARVEST 2020
The 2020 Hop harvest is near and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated team players to join our team in the beautiful Korere Valley.
We are preparing for a start date of 20 February and harvest will run for 5-6 weeks. Just in case the plant ripens early we require people to arrive on farm from the 15th February and no later than the 18 February.
We have a great team of kiwis and overseas backpackers currently on board and can’t wait for the team to expand to help us keep beer drinkers across the world happy.
Jobs available:
Tractor drivers – must have previous tractor experience. Drivers will be on a 6 on 1 off roster.
Harvest team members – must be physically fit and a great team member – work involves removing hop plants from trailers and hooking them up, keeping the processing floor clean and helping with general duties at harvest time. The team will be on a 5 on 1 off roster.
Accommodation is free which includes a bunkroom, kitchen and bathroom facilities with pool table, table tennis and musical instruments and you have access to the farms river for a dip. We also have plenty of room for vans and they are more than welcome to use the facilities for free.
