Role Overview: The Health & Safety Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping our Health and Safety culture and implementing a significant health and safety improvement programme. You will work to build strong relationships across the organisation and increase the capability of our People Leaders. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, providing expert advice, and supporting health and safety matters.

Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Provide expert advice and support in health and safety matters.
About You: The Health & Safety Lead reports to the Manager People & Capability and will thrive in a fun, supportive, and friendly team. The following key attributes will see you succeed in this role:
A natural ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
Demonstrated experience in positively influencing behaviour change.
A creative, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience working and partnering within a broad range of industries/environments, including infrastructure.
Strong experience in the implementation and execution of Health and Safety frameworks.
Minimum Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
A minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience and understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Local Government Act 2002, and key Health Monitoring Acts and Regulations.
If you are interested in a part-time fixed-term project opportunity as a Health and Safety Business Partner, you should have sound health and safety experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to contribute to process improvement.
