This is an evolving role for a hard-working person to assist the management team with all health, safety & environmental compliance. We are seeking a motivated applicant who preferably has good technical strengths. We are a workplace committed to training and will provide support and further training to the successful applicant.Duties will include:Maintain and champion Intermediate H&S qualificationInvestigations in the workplaceTraining and DevelopmentImplementation of new procedures or policiesComplianceIdentifying problem/barriersReporting with excellent written and communication skillsEffectively induct new workers, vessels crew, and sub-contractors to the shipyardConduct internal AuditsTo be successful you will have:Strong Health & Safety background, ideally from Civil or Construction IndustryStrong interpersonal and listening skillsWell-developed research and presentation skillsUnderstanding of NZ HSE lawsEfficient use of MS Office SuiteYears of Experience: 2Location: Mt RoskillWork Hours: 40Job Qualifications:Job Requirements:Compensation:
