The Role
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, this position supports the harvest operation teams across the full range of health, safety and wellbeing functions and projects. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of an H&S role and really bring your experience and skills to the table to make a difference. Applicants are invited at Advisor or Senior Advisor level.
Rockit Global Limited (RGL) has multiple export markets and a significant growth trajectory over the next 5-10 years, so this position provides a great opportunity to build your skills and experience as the company expands. Key responsibilities include:
Develop and improve health and safety management systems
Monitor compliance with company and regulatory standards, including internal verification frameworks
Build effective relationships with orchard management teams and contractors, and undertake training and education initiatives
Support the Health and Safety committee, provide advice to Managers and assist with investigation of incidents
Undertake reporting and analysis and contribute to new initiatives across the business
Partner in developing a positive health and safety culture at Rockit
Skills and Experience
Sound health and safety experience, including training and audits
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
Experience in controlled based risk management (CBRM), fatal and critical risks projects
Proven track record building a culture that supports health and safety management
Experience in an operational high-risk environment
Experience in the horticulture sector desirable
