As a senior leader within Air New Zealand, this role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of Tandem Travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including technology, customer solutions, operations, sales, finance and commercial strategy.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Tandem Travel team, fostering a high-performing, customer-centric culture.Build and maintain strong relationships with government and corporate clients.Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business growth and customer satisfaction.Oversee the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies.Ensure operational efficiency and excellence in service delivery.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business objectives.Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Qualifications:Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the travel industry.Strong understanding of corporate travel management and related technologies.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government and corporate clients and multiple technology partners.Excellent leadership and people management skills.Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.Please note, this role can be based in either Auckland or Wellington, and some travel is required.If you are a visionary leader with a passion for the travel industry and a proven track record of driving business success, we would love to hear from you.
