Head Of Faculty Mathematics

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Middle leadership Mathematics and statistics We are seeking a dynamic head of faculty to lead our high-performing mathematics department, known for its academic excellence and offering both NCEA and IB pathways.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated educator with a strong track record in leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a well-organized, innovative approach to teaching and learning.
Applications are welcome from candidates that can teach senior calculus and up to NCEA Level 3.
The ability to teach International Baccalaureate (IB) mathematics is an advantage but not essential.
An in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA is crucial.
This role calls for a genuine passion for mathematics, alongside excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
As an experienced educator, you will also be a strong people leader who demonstrates resilience, innovation, and empathy.
Familiarity with the independent school sector is an advantage.
