Green Homes is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Head of Design to lead and inspire our team in Christchurch.Are you driven by a passion for creating innovative, energy-efficient living spaces?Reporting to the General Manager, in this pivotal role you'll relish being a visionary leader and will have mastered the art of communication and collaboration. If you thrive in a forward-thinking environment and you're passionate about sustainable design, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor our design team, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
Oversee all design projects, ensuring quality, sustainability, and adherence to client expectations.
Utilise Archicad software to develop and refine architectural designs with precision and creativity, plus explore new technologies to enhance design processes and outcomes.
Drive innovation in sustainable architecture and home design, continually seeking out cutting-edge trends and technologies.
Implement best practices in design, project management and environmental regulations and industry standards, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design vision with company goals and client needs while enhancing workflow and output.
Be au fait with admin so our team is all singing from the same song sheet when it comes to streamlined processes.
Periodically conduct market and trend analysis to keep designs, material and techniques at the forefront of the industry.

Must-Haves:
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to enthuse and guide a team.
LPB 1 Design Qualification.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the architectural/design industry, supported by a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Archicad and other relevant design, and AI software.
A visionary thinker with a passion for eco-friendly and sustainable design practices.
