Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.6, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 27/01/2026 (Role growth)Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Guidance counsellorWe are seeking a counsellor to join our pastoral care team on a part time 0.6 basis (three days per week). The successful applicant must be able to work on Thursday and Friday (please confirm this in your application).Applicants must be provisional or full members of the NZAC (please state your membership category in your application) and be passionate about working narratively with rangatahi, their whanau, our staff and community agencies.The successful candidate will have confidence and capabilities with technology and be an active member of our Professional Development Programme including Culturally Responsive Pedagogy as well as an expectation of involvement in extracurricular activities on offer at the College.If you would like to join our team, please don't delay as applications will be reviewed as they are received and interviews for the role will be held as suitable candidates are identified, therefore applications may close early if we appoint.
