A key role being an integral part of the leadership team, you will primarily be responsible for the overall product portfolio for control & automation and design services associated to this line for the business. To also ensure that this function is carried out effectively and in a timely manner whilst driving strong commercial decisions to optimise business performance is also paramount within this role.Key Relationships: The Group Manager (Control & Automation) works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management, Customers and Prospects.Key Responsibilities: The Group Manager (Control & Automation) is responsible for:Achieving sales & purchasing budgets while maximizing returns and benefits to the groupStrong and clear self-management to align with key objectivesCreate strong relationships with all management, staff, and clients (direct or indirect)Assist with management of branch, support services and point of sale consistency through the groupMaximizing marketing opportunities with appropriate collateral and training programsForm strong relationshipsCompliance of all HR, and H&S requirementsAssist with and ability to supply information, design, concepts where required and in a timely mannerStrategic planning in relation to your portfolio and services.Skills required: To perform the responsibilities listed and achieve success in the role, the Group Manager (Control & Automation) will demonstrate the following skills: Ability to build relationships with peers, counterparts, management, staff, customers, and vendorsCommitment to helping others be successfulAbility to unite a team under a shared vision and know what motivates each memberAnalytical skills: Use data or knowledge to spur coaching sessions empowering staff to take ownership of the opportunitiesClear understanding of products within the product portfolio, stock management, pricing, margins, and discounting impactsClear understanding of company requirements for HR and H&S requirementsThe ability to prioritize and effectively manage time and workloads and deadlines under pressureHigh working knowledge of the ERP, Microsoft Office 365, and all work-related toolsAbility to communicate information effectively and appropriately#J-18808-Ljbffr
