Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) We seek a highly experienced senior Procurement leader with a successful track record of leading and developing a procurement function that delivers excellent results through partnership and achieves tangible and sustainable cost benefits for the business. As the Group Procurement Manager, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver and provide strategic leadership, governance, and direction for the Group Procurement function through the development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement strategy, risk management, and resources. You will have a proven track record of strong analytical and strategic skills along with top-class communication skills, a flexible and proactive approach, and the ability to identify risk and solutions to complex issues. This is a key leadership role in a complex and significant business, to be successful you will need to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to deliver value to our end consumers. You will have: Proven procurement skills and delivered transformation results. Broad-based experience of managing the procurement function within a large organisation. Excellent relationship skills and networks. Ability to lead, motivate and manage cross-functional teams. Specific experience in a large processing/manufacturing environment would be advantageous. As well as leading the team and ensuring the best possible commercial outcomes, you will spearhead an optimisation project across the purchasing function and procurement function and play a key role in an ERP implementation. You will ideally be based in Dunedin or Christchurch (or willing to relocate).
