Permanent role based in Wellington CBD Fantastic company benefits and excellent culture Successful organisation with exciting plans for 2025 The Company: You'll be working for a well-renowned not-for-profit organisation that has a NZ wide remit and a head office based in Wellington. The Role: In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive and will be responsible for leading a collaborative, efficient, and happy corporate services function. This role will likely develop over time; however, the main areas of responsibility will include: Leading, developing, managing, and motivating direct reports and overseeing the leadership of a large team of indirect reports within Finance, HR, Operations, Contracts, and Communications. Providing commercial advice to the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation. Planning, performance tracking, and analysis in relation to the organisation's overall financial performance. Supporting the development of the annual business plan and overseeing the annual audit process. Supporting the implementation of agreed policies and procedures across the organisation. Identifying potential risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to the SLT accordingly. Overseeing emergency management, H&S, fleet management, leases, and contracts. Building and maintaining strong relationships with external providers to ensure contractual obligations are consistently met. About You: Personality is absolutely key to success in this role and we're looking for someone who naturally brings energy each day! You'll have a strong can-do attitude with the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence, understanding when to delegate in order to grow capability within your team. You'll hold a relevant tertiary accounting and finance-related qualification, and it would be favourable if you've previously operated in the not-for-profit space. In order to be considered for this role, you will ideally be currently residing in NZ, and it is essential that you hold a valid work visa.
