A key focus will be Three Waters infrastructure but will include other infrastructure assets. You will be expected to support QLDC's Asset Management Strategy through the provision of asset data mapping services and geospatial analysis to the Property and Infrastructure Directorate.The role will involve:Processing, approval and maintenance of geospatial asset data from capital works, subdivisions and developments.Development, maintenance and promotion of the Three Waters data schema and associated asset as-built data submission process.Working with the asset engineers to develop tools, analysis, and usage of spatial data.Supporting the use of ETL's for geospatial integrations between asset management systems.Promoting and providing GIS support to the wider P&I team in all activities (Three waters, Transport, Waste Management).What you'll bring to the role / Ko wai to PukekaYou will have at least three years of experience working with information systems and possess in-depth knowledge of ESRI software, including ArcGISPro and FME Desktop tools. You will have exceptional attention to detail and will possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.To best succeed in this role, you'll have:Tertiary qualification (Level 6 Diploma or above) in Computer Science, Geography, Surveying, Engineering, or related field and/or demonstrable commensurate experience in geospatial data analysis work in similar-sized organisations in lieu of a formal qualification.An understanding of local government processes.Experience with infrastructure assets, particularly three waters.Please note we will review and process applications as they come through; we encourage your early application.
