With a hugely committed ownership team backing the business, there is an fantastic, friendly culture, and supportive environment where delivering consistently excellent patient focussed care is always top of mind.You will have the chance to work at a great facility, amongst a vibrant team of dedicated doctors, nurses and support staff, who take pride in the role they play as an integrated and essential part of the rapidly expanding local island community.Currently, there are approx. 3500 enrolled patients at the practice; serviced by a team that typically works either 3 or 4 days per week plus some after-hours coverage. With the island's population growing steadily, plans are in place to build up the enrolment numbers and diversify the depth and breadth of the patient offerings from the practice.Any new GPs to join the team would ideally be:Interested in practice development - serving as an active member of the practice team and the wider GP peer group on the islandHave special interest areas they would like to develop e.g. palliative care/youth health/mental health/men's health/lifestyle-wellness model - just to name a fewPositive outlook and a self-starter - interested in innovation and advancement within primary care, always will to help out colleagues and being pro-active around sharing their knowledgeGreat at working collaboratively and engaged in patient management with the team - solving complex patient issues as a team, where neededInterested in developing and optimising the nursing team and supporting nurse-led clinicsSupportive of nurse practitioner role.The role comes with market leading remuneration attached, along with extensive offerings in professional and career development.
