About Us We do health differently at Tui Ora. As a holistic kaupapa Maori (Maori approach) primary care organisation which has been serving the Taranaki community for more than 25 years, we provide a wide range of health and social wellbeing services for our whanau (families). Our experienced and multi-disciplinary teams walk beside them every step of the way.
About the Role You will be joining a team of six General Practitioners and work as a part of our vibrant, dedicated, and collaborative general practice team. You will be responsible for providing patient-centred, culturally appropriate, individual holistic care to our enrolled population.
What We Offer Free Te Reo Maori (Maori language) and cultural learning training - during work hours!
A Tui Ora Day (an additional paid day each year)
An additional four special Wellbeing Leave days annually
Cost covered for annual practicing certificate, indemnity insurance and College of GPs membership ad Midlands Health Network fees

To Promote Success in This Role, You Will Have Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible to apply for registration
Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, or training towards FRNZCGP
An international postgraduate medical qualification in general practice
Current practicing certificate
A good knowledge of general practice care in Aotearoa (New Zealand) (desirable)
A full, clean NZ Driver Licence or equivalent
Experience in applying tikanga Maori as it applies in the role (desirable).
