Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a M a ui Hawke's Bay has an immediate need for a specialist who is committed to develop their career and work in a very collegial work environment.
The busy service provides over 3,000 endoscopy procedures per year and approximately 2,000 outpatient appointments. The team currently comprises three gastroenterologists and a team of nurses led by two registered nurses with extensive gastroenterology outpatient and endoscopy experience.
As our successful candidate, you will have proven skills and experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. On application, please include a summary of your endoscopy experience. An ability to perform ERCP and large EMR would be desirable but not essential.
The appointee will be involved in teaching, continuing medical education, and quality improvement. There is an emphasis on ongoing development of services to meet the needs of our patients. A commitment to customer focus, service development, and teamwork are essential.
The successful applicant should have FRACP and be registered (or is eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
