Key Responsibilities Develop and implement an External Funding Strategy to align with Council's priorities and secure funding streams from national, regional, and central government sources. Lead the preparation of compelling funding applications and sponsorship packages to support a variety of projects, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. Foster strong relationships with funders, strategic partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a high success rate in securing external funding. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in government departments, senior-level administration, or trust administration with a proven track record in securing funding. Strong knowledge of funding sources, contract management, and project planning, with excellent skills in preparing high-quality proposals. A relevant degree and a clean, current NZ driver's license.
