GSL Education Bournemouth Branch are currently collaborating with an outstanding SEN-based school located in Christchurch that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide tailored educational support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
As a Full-Time SEN Teacher , you will be entrusted with the responsibility of designing and delivering high-quality, personalised lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
Your role will be pivotal in developing students' academic skills, self-esteem, and overall well-being, ensuring they are equipped for future success.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For: Craft and implement lesson plans that accommodate the varying abilities and learning styles of SEN students.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, employing effective behaviour management techniques to support student engagement and learning.
Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to develop and implement effective support plans tailored to each student's needs.
Stay abreast of the latest educational practices and SEN strategies, engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching efficacy.
The Successful Candidate Will: Have a specialised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
Proven experience as a Full-Time SEN Teacher within an SEN-based educational setting.
Have an understanding and compassionate approach to helping the students in an inclusive learning environment.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Have an updated CV ( with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
