We are seeking a highly motivated foodie and energetic person to join our fantastic team at New World Ilam as a Service Deli Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large Deli team who are passionate about producing high-quality products and providing excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves to hit the ground running in our busy deli department.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service to our valued customers
Preparing, producing, and presenting a range of fresh foods
Maintaining stock levels and presentation standards
Implementing food and health and safety requirements, including record-keeping of temperatures and cleaning
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards of the department
What we are looking for:
A great work ethic
Ability to work well in a busy team environment
Previous experience with food preparation would be advantageous
Dedication to customer service
Self-motivation and able to work independently
Physically fit as this will involve some heavy lifting
Hours:
This is a permanent full-time position working Tuesday to Saturday 5am-1.30pm (40 hours).
